North End Road Market goes traffic free and Irish on St Patrick’s Day for Fulham’s first big market of the year

Bridie the Irish tea lady will be at North End Road Market on Saturday to entertain the crowds

Hammersmith and Fulham’s North End Road Market with have a feel of an Irish spring to it on Saturday when the North End Road goes traffic-free to host the first big market of the year.

More than 150 food and gift stalls are expected for the market which will also use street entertainment to develop a St. Patrick’s Day theme.

Classical quartet ZHL will play Irish tunes in celebration of St Paddy’s Day while the tall figure of Bridie the Irish Tea Lady will dispense wit and wisdom from on high.


North End Road Market, Fulham, London SW6 1NW. Free admission, 9am-5pm
